Free Note Element

A note that can be placed anywhere in the diagram.

Free notes are edited using the Free Note Input Form:

TIP: Pressing the Esc key will clear the contents of the input form and return the focus to the Type combo box. You can then select the type of element you want to add from the dropdown or by typing the first few letters of the desired selection.

Text	Text of the free note
Detail	The detail level of the note that determines whether it is show or not (based on diagram properties)
Relative Layout	Select to position the note relative to some other anchor element so that the note is always the same distance relative to the anchor
Absolute Layout	Select to position the note relative to the diagram's origin
Has Connector	Check to display the connector (arrow) or uncheck to hide it
Offset X	Distance (in inches) from the note's origin to its center in X direction
Offset Y	Distance (in inches) from the note's origin to its center in Y direction
Anchor	Name of the anchor element for the note (or blank if none)
Set Anchor...	Click to set the note's anchor element to a selected diagram element
