Else Block Element  
 Sequence Diagram Editor  Top  Previous  Next

Represents an "else" branch of a conditional block associated with a lifelined header element. The else block is attached to the innermost unended block occurring before the element.  
 


Else block elements are added or modified using the Else Block Input Form:  
 
 
 
TIP: Pressing the Esc key will clear the contents of the input form and return the focus to the Type combo box. You can then select the type of element you want to add from the dropdown or by typing the first few letters of the desired selection.  
 
This form is identical in functionality to the Block Input Form.  
 
TIP: You can edit the element's documentation notes in a larger window using the Edit Documentation... command in the Diagram Menu
