| Since free notes can be placed anywhere in the diagram they can also be placed over other free notes. When free notes intersect, their z-order is used to determine which free note is draw on top of the others.

| To bring a free note to the top of the z-order:
|
| · | Select the desired free note
|
| · | Invoke the Bring to Front command from the diagram menu (Diagram | Bring to Front) or context menu
|
|
|
| To send a free note to the bottom of the z-order:
|
| · | Select the desired free note
|
| · | Invoke the Send to Back command from the diagram menu (Diagram | Send to Back) or context menu
