The Input Form is used to add new header elements to the diagram. The insertion position must be placed in the header section of the diagram in order for the Input Form type selector to contain header elements.

To add a new header element to the diagram:
·Place the insertion position in the desired location for the new element (see Moving The Insertion Position)
·Select the appropriate type of element from the input form type combo box
·Provide a name for the header element (must be unique for Actors, Objects and Units)
·Optionally provide a classifier (actor/object/unit) and documentation for the element
·Click the Add button to add the new element

The element type can be changed at any time before the Add button is clicked.

The add can be cancelled by clicking the Cancel button or pressing the Esc key.
