Action Element

Represents an action taken by a header element. Actions can only be attached to lifelined header elements.

Actions are added and modified using the Action Input Form:

TIP: Pressing the Esc key will clear the contents of the input form and return the focus to the Type combo box. You can then select the type of element you want to add from the dropdown or by typing the first few letters of the desired selection.

For	Name of the lifelined header element associated with the action
Action	Name/Text of the action
Share Guideline	Checked if the action should attempt to share the guideline (horizontal line) with other action elements
Doc	Documentation for the action element
Show Doc	Check to show documentation for the action in the diagram as an element documentation note or uncheck to hide (depending on diagram properties)

TIP: You can edit the element's documentation notes in a larger window using the Edit Documentation... command in the Diagram Menu
